WE DID IT!

My update on my blog has been very slow due to many happy interviews I had to attend after winning the Championship.The last race in Valencia was unexpected in many ways, but I managed to finish 7th and secured the world title for 2009.
I assume everyone would have thought I’d be struggling to compete in the top group for this season, especially after KTM deciding to withdraw from the championship last year.However, there were ups and downs but the team and staff always worked as ONE for every race, and worked very hard for me to supply me with the best machine for the finals.Their outstanding work always gave me the power and motivation, which I believe lead me to achieve a successful WGP career.
A lot have happened in the past, not only this season but including all the rest of my career years.I know I couldn’t have done this without all your help and support.Thank you so much to Scot Racing Team, Staff, Sponsors, HONDA, DORNA, My family, and all the people who have supported me.
I could not have done it without you and appreciate it very much.
My goal and my next challenge of MotoGP are waiting ahead of me.

チャンピオン獲得後、取材などの嬉しいバタバタでブログの更新が遅くなってしまいました。
最終戦バレンシアのレースはものすごく波乱のレースとなりましたが無事に７位でゴールをして2009年度の年間チャンピオンを獲得しました。
今シーズンは昨年のＫＴＭ撤退から始まり、その体制から誰もチャンピオン争いが出来るとは思っていなかったシーズンだったと思います。しかし、チームは１つになって毎戦戦い、良い時もそうでない時もチームとスタッフは夜まで作業をしてかならず決勝に一番良い状態のマシンを用意してくれました。
その仕事が、僕にモチベーションと力を与え、だからこそチャンピオンシップを優位に戦えたんだと思っています。
今シーズンだけでなく、今までいろいろなことがあり、いろいろな方々にお世話になってきました。
その１つ１つがなければここまでたどりつくことはできなったでしょう。 僕を支えてくれたScot Racing Team、スタッフ、スポンサー、HONDA、DORNA、家族、僕の周りのすべ手の人達に感謝をしています。
そして皆さんの熱い応援ありがとうございました。
これからは、僕のもう１つの目標であるMotoGPの挑戦が始まります。
