I have returned in Barcelona after three weeks of racing in a row and I am trying to adjust my self from a jet lag…. I was planning on relaxing but I was invited to a friends wedding and I decided to go and celebrate! The wedding was held at an island near Barcelona. I was planning on travelling on a boat but then I was told that it would take over a night so I decided to fly. I’ve been flying for the last four weeks and I’m going to be honest here, I am very tired of flying…
I arrived on the island a day before and while I was wondering around I have found a beautiful place and felt very lucky! It is October and people were swimming in the water. The water was so clear and beautiful I couldn’t help my self…. So I jumped in also. A magnificent wedding was held next to the beach and I was so glad to be there. It was a perfect place for me for a change. I am back in Barcelona and yesterday (25th) was my birthday. Thank you all for your birthday messages. Time really flies. I’m in my last 20’s. I will refresh my self physically and mentally and do my best!

今は、3連戦を終えてバルセロナで時差調整しています。先週はゆっくりしようと思っていたのですが友人の結婚式に招待されて式に出席してきました。
バルセロナ周辺の島で式は行われたので、船で行こうかと思ったのですが、一晩かかるとのことで、フライトで行くことにしました。これで４週連続のフライトになって、正直移動は疲れましたね。。　でも、前日入りして島を探索しているとすごく綺麗な場所を発見して得した気分になれました。海に入っている人もいるし、１０月なのに海なんてすごい。とても綺麗ですね。あまりに綺麗な水だったので思わず自分も入ってしまいました。
式の方も海の横で行われてすごく盛大な式でとても良かったです。　いい気分転換になりました。
今はバルセロナに戻ってきましたが、昨日２５日は誕生日でした。みなさんのメッセージありがとうございます。時間が経つのは早いですね。２０代最後の年、しっかり頑張れるように体も気持ちも新たに頑張ろうと思います。

It rained heavily on the first day which made the practice session delay for a couple of hours. We had not much luck with the weather this week. It was dry on the second day but extremely cold and I was only out on the track from half way through the session. We were in a difficult situation to be judging for our set up and it sure was not easy to make the decision. The set up we had on the bike with this circuit was not the best match so we have looked into making a big change for the race.
The weather was good for the final, and we got to race in a good condition. Although it could have been an effect from the new set up, but I was unable to outperform the tyres and I was fighting with myself with the tyres which wasn’t giving much grip as I expected. I was not satisfied with the race or the result. I will refresh my self and look ahead for the last two races to come. Thank you for your support!

今回は、初日が雨で悪天候のためプラクティスが２時間遅れるなど、あまり天候に恵まれないウェークになり、２日目もドライではありましたがあまりにも寒いコンディションで走りだせたのはセッションの半分から、そんな難しいコンディションでセットアップしていくのも容易ではなく、変更の判断も難しいところでしたが、このコースと今のセットアップの方向が噛み合っておらず、決勝までに大きな変更して臨みました。
決勝は、天候も良くなり一番良いコンディションでレースを行えましたが、セットアップの影響か、レース序盤からタイヤの性能を上手くひきだせず。思うようにグリップしないバイクと格闘しながらのレースになり、レース内容にも順位にも納得できないレースになってしまいました。思いっきり行きたいところだたのに、とても悔しいですが残り２戦に気持ちを切り替えて行きたいと思います。

On our first day we had problems on the bike so we started to set up the spare bike instead. Second day I was back on the original bike so we ended up spending double the time on setting up the bikes. I was a bit behind in the qualifying but after all, the setting was ready and steady for the race. At one stage I was battling for the 4th position until later on in the race when I was interrupted by Simoncelli and dropped down to 7th position; although it was the best result for this season. Since I could have been in a higher position, it was another regrettable race but at least we are achieving positive setting outcomes. There are other situations where needs improvement and I would like to deal with each problem at a time to improve.
I will be leaving here tomorrow for Australia. There will be a huge difference in the outside temperature of around 20 degrees. I will try and keep away from the cold.

今回は、初日にいつも使用しているマシンに問題が出てしまい、もう一台でセットアップをする事になりましたが、2日目にはいつものマシンに戻る結果になり、セットアップが二の足を踏んでしまいました。その流れで予選では遅れを取りましたが、決勝までにはなんと帳尻を合わせる事ができてレースでは安定したペースで追い上げ、4位を狙える位置につけていました。終盤にシモンセリに邪魔をされ7位まで落ちましたが、今年のベストリザルトです。もっと前でゴール出来る可能性があっただけに悔しいレースですが、マシンに関してもセットアップのポイントが見えてきているので、それをうまく良い方向に持っていければ伸ばしていけると思います。　まだ苦しいところはありますが、今はその中でもできることを１つ１つやっていきたいと思います。

明日にはオーストラリアに移動です。外気温が２０℃は変わるので風邪を引かないように気をつけます。

今回は母国でのレース、みなさんから沢山の声援をもらい、いつも以上に気合いも入りました。初日はコースを知っている強みから６番手と良いスタートを切れましたが、２日目は初日に出た問題を解決できないままの予選になり、タイムをあまり伸ばすことができず１４番手、決勝でも同じ問題を抱えてのレースになり、他のライダーをパスするのに時間が掛り１０位でのゴール。ペースはコンスタントでしたがレースとしては、もっと前に出て行きたい悔しいレースになりました。
今回のレースウィークは、マシンのセットアップという部分では、いつも以上にマシンの状況を把握でき、結果以上に内容の濃いウィークにできたと思います。現状ではこれがベストですがまだまだ良く出来るので、ここからさらに前に進んで行けるように頑張りたいと思います。

Thank you all to my fantastic supporters at my home Grand Prix! I could hear you all cheering and I felt a lot more powerful than ever! I was quite confident on my first day as I knew the track very well. I started well, placing 6th in the position but on the second day we were unable to solve the problem we had and ended up riding the bike for the qualifying as it was. I couldn’t improve my lap time and qualified 14th. During the race, I still had to deal with the same problem and took me a long time to pass the other riders. Overall I finished 10th. Regardless of the result, I was quite happy with this race meeting as we were able to get hold of the machine setting more. During the race I kept up with my pace constantly but wish if I could have ridden harder to achieve a satisfying result.., although I think it was a successful week. I’m willing to achieve a better result and I’m sure I can improve myself!
