I’m now in Sepang. It was a long trip from Barcelona but I feel good. I got here in Kuala Lumpur by lunch time and went and checked out the track in the afternoon. But unfortunately, it has been raining. Raining heavily! Every team has made an effort for this test… so let’s hope we can see some sunshine and test in a dry condition….

バルセロナからセパンに移動してきました。長旅でしたが今のところ体調は良い感じです。
昼にクアラルンプールについて、午後からサーキットに顔を出しましたがあいにくの雨です。しかもけっこうな大雨。天気予報も３日間ぱっとしないのでドライでテストできるか難しいところ、せっかく各チーム準備してきているので晴れるといいのですが。

Next weekend, I will be heading to Malaysia and the test will begin. I hope everything goes well with my new team. I’ve been getting in the sauna to get used to the heat in Malaysia. The logo above is the new design I started using from the end of the last season. (On the back of my helmet) I really like the new design with a Samurai symbol “Katana” (samurai sword). 今年も後援会からも応援席の募集が始まりました。詳細はインフォメーションにアップされています。レースは4月ですからね。あっという間です。 　僕も来週末にはマレーシアに移動してテストが始まります。新チームとの本格的なテストになるので、しっかりテストがこなせると良いなと思いながら準備しています。バルセロナも気温は決して高くないのでマレーシアの高温多湿の気候に早く順応できるように、最近はサウナにも入っています。いつも汗だくです。
　 ↑のデザインは、昨シーズンの後半から使っているヘルメットの後ろに入っているロゴのデザインなんです。このヘルメットは侍のシンボルでもある刀をモチーフにしたデザインになっていて、すごく気に入っています。　
今年は心機一転、ＨＰの表紙もこのロゴに変更しました。チェックしてみてください。　

I’m back in Barcelona and it’s warm. I will be catching up with the team to organize the schedule for up coming tests and the races. I’m based in Barcelona and the team is based in Italy, therefore it makes it a little hard to organise the schedule.
Something exiting happened today! A luggage which was sent from Japan has been stuck in France and then it was lost….. It’s been missing for 3 weeks but it turned up today!! I was so happy it turned up as it contained a lot of gifts which were given from my fans and they were all useful stuff such as Japanese medicine and so on… Very happy!

オーストリアから移動してきて、拠点のバルセロナに戻りました。温かいですね。 ここしばらくは、チームと連絡を取り合ってテストやシーズンに向けてのスケジュールや準備などいろいろと調整することがあります。チームはイタリア、僕はバルセロナですからね。この時期が結構大変なんです。そんなバタバタしている中ですが、今日は１つ嬉しい事がありました。年末に日本を出てから寒波でフランスに足止めをくらってヨーロッパになんとか着いたんですが、その時に行方知れずになったカバンが3週間ぶりに届きました。。中にはファンの方々に頂いた海外で役立つ薬などプレゼントが入っていたので戻ってきてかなり嬉しかった。よかったです。

I’m getting a little used to this now and I can ski up-hill at a fair pace. It is a beautiful day and I’m enjoying breathing in the cool fresh air. Not long till I return to Barcelona… I need to train as much as I can!

慣れてきてある程度のペースで登れるようになってきました。天候も今日は晴れ、晴れるととても気持ちがいい、呼吸をするたびに冷たい空気を感じます。バルセロナへの移動の日が近づいてきたので、残りの日もしっかり頑張りたいと思います。

It’s been 4 days since a new year started, and how is everyone doing?
I am exercising in the snowy mountains in Austria. It is -20 ℃during the day and is extremely cold! This is my first time challenge for cross country skiing but it is so hard! I can not ski like the people I see in the TV… I’ve fallen over so many times but I hope this tough exercise will do me good for the up coming test in Sepang and for the new season! I am scheduled ahead with a lot of training, and I apologise for not being able to have a “New Year Autograph Session” this year…

新年も明け４日が過ぎましたが皆さん如何お過ごしですか。
僕は、今オーストリアの冬山で体を動かしています。昼間も−２０℃と極寒です。初めてのクロスカントリースキーにチャレンジしていますがとにかく難しい。
TVで見ているようにはまだまだ滑れません。なんどもなんども転倒していますが、２月のセパンテスト、そしてシーズンに向けて少しでもプラスになればなと思いながらやっています。
しばらくは、このままトレーニングなので、今年のお正月サイン会はできないのですが、その分こっちで頑張りたいとおもいます。

A Happy New Year everyone!
Last year I was chosen as one of the rookies and participated in the Moto GP category. There were ups and downs and it sure was a quick 12 months. I’d like to make a good use of my experience from the last season and I will be challenging to make this season a substantial one! A brand new season is about to start and I am looking very forward to it. Thank you all for your continuous support!

皆さん、新年明けましておめでとうございます。
昨年は、ルーキーとしてトップカテゴリーに参戦し1年間、山あり谷あり、あっと言う間に1年が過ぎていきました。
今年は、昨年の経験を活かして1戦1戦チャレンジし、そこで学び、吸収し、実になるシーズンにしていきたと思っています。
まだ白紙のシーズンどんな年になるか楽しみです。
