WSB開幕前の２日間のオフィシャルテストを終えました。 結果は２日間の総合で１４番手、すぐに開幕戦なのでもう少し前につけていたいのが本音ですが、初日にトラブルがでてしまい思ったようにまだ進んでいないのが現状、 そんな中でもポジティブなところもあったのであとはレースウィークにどれだけ詰めて行けるか、まだやりたい事、やるべき事が、いくつかあるのでペースアップに繋げていけるように詰めて行きたいと思います。
マシンカラーリングも新しくなりました。トリコロールで新鮮なイメージに。

The last official test was held 2 days before the opening round. 14th overall after 2 days of testing and to be honest, this is not what I was expecting, although there were positives as well. We had some trouble on the first day and it was not what we expected but this is reality…
There is still a lot of work to be done, and need to be done so I’m hoping to improve my problems during the race weekend.

昨日は、都内某所で体制発表がおこなわれました。二輪から四輪まで今年のレース活動を発表するものですが多くの選手があつまり、それぞれ意気込みを語たり紹介を受けて壇上に上がってきました。これだけの発表をおこなえるなんてさすがホンダだなと改めておもいました。やはりホンダはレースが原点なのですね。
自分は今シーズン、Honda World Superbike team からWSBに参戦しますが、新しい場所、新しい環境、新しいバイクで、学ぶことが沢山ある年になると思います。少しでも早く、速く走れる環境を整えて、最終目標であるチャンピオに向かって走っていきたいと思います。
今は開幕戦に向けて、準備や周りの調整をして毎日を過ごしています。これまでに２回のテストを消化しましたが、課題をクリアして残り一回のテストで良いステップが出来るようにチームと仕事を続けて行きたいとおもいます。

An official 2012 Honda announcement was held in Tokyo yesterday. It was an announcement for 2012 racing (both 2 wheels and 4 wheels) and many riders and drivers have attended. Every one of us was introduced onto a stage and spoke a little bit about our enthusiasm for racing. I was again amazed of the power of Honda to hold such a great presentation and made me realise how important racing is for this company.
I will be competing in the WSB this season with Honda World Superbike Team. A whole new start for me with new circuits, new environment, new bike…..etc. There are a lot for me to learn and I am willing to adjust to this new environment and to improve my ride to compete in this new championship, and of course my challenge/aim is to win a title in this new category.
At the moment, I am preparing my self for the first round. So far, we have finished 2 tests and 1 to remain. I’d like to work hard with the team for the final test, and to solve the problems to be prepared for the first round.
