 I was 5 years old when my father took me to a race track for "Pocket-Bikes". The passion for motorbikes and riding has since been the centre of my life. I joined OKEGAWA ZYUKU at the age of 14 and learned and experienced a lot about bikes, including mini-bikes, motor-cross, dirt-tracks…etc. At the age of 18 I joined Team HARC-PRO. In 2003, I won the championship in GP250 class for Japanese Road Race Championship. My World GP career started in 2004, when I was chosen as a first "Scholarship Rider" for HONDA. After my 2 year scholarship deal, my career continued on with my new contract with KTM from 2006〜2008. I was back on HONDA once again with my new Team "SCOT Racing Team" for 2009. Competing against many Aprilias, I secured the last world title for 250cc class. 2010, a whole new challenge begins on Moto GP.
